Portable Centres represents the Manufacturing division of Diamond Cut Refinishing Ltd and is a wholly owned subsidiary. Operating for over 10 years we have refined the development of our modular buildings to incorporate latest materials and technologies. Initially the business was founded with the idea of providing modular buildings to the automotive industry, this automotive proposition has since been enhanced from the original car body repair booth. Today we build and develop everything from wheel repair, vehicle servicing, MOT, tyre & glass booths for our automotive portfolio. Our innovative design and technology can be used for various applications. We are now developing portable centres for use in retail, office, storage to list a few.

We are working with numerous different partners from many different industries to build bespoke portable centres to meet their specific needs. We focus on using high-quality materials for the frame of the building and use latest techniques in material management to constantly enhance these structures. The fixtures and fittings can be supplied off-the-shelf or tailored to a specific customer need, but, we would always promote the use of high-end products to maintain the ethos that we follow during every design and build.

We use market leading design tools, including Sketchup and CAD to design bespoke products using cutting edge environmentally efficient materials. Our design team and structural engineers use the latest software tools and technology to ensure that we maximise the use of the most appropriate and modern materials in the structure of the building. Design is at the heart of what we do, we spend time with our clients to understand their specific needs and then use our skills to ensure that our proposition meets these, often delivering new initiatives that add value.

Manufactured using a galvanised coated steel base with painted steel frame construction, enclosed by 50mm metal composite sandwich panels with high-quality polyurethane panels with an insulated foam core.

Finished with your desired RAL coatings inside and out, including colour matched metal flashings, gutterings and drainage systems. Micro-ribbed profiled exterior panels.

The complete portable solution

Our building composition consists of exceptionally high quality materials which give our builds a high-end finish. However, they are designed to enable our clients to move them if they wish. Our solutions are often described as a business in a box, fully designed & built in our UK factory. We often assemble internal components and then deliver them to site in a completed manner. Depending on the size, our units are delivered via Hy-ab or Crane, perfectly positioned into place on skates. We can land on various different surfaces including specifically built concrete bases, tarmac and concrete car parks. We adjust the unit into place effectively & efficiently. Our JackPad solution also enables centre levelling, allowing us to be confident when arranging the landing of a portable centre. Depending on the unit size & specification, it takes our installation team on average 1-2 days on site to install a new centre.
